OZAWA Claims Jack Morris Was Jealous Of Him And Deserved To Be Kicked Out Of Team 2000X

By: Lewis Carlan

At Pro Wrestling NOAH’s latest event KAWASAKI SUMMER VOYAGE 2025 at the Culttz Kawasaki, Jack Morris was expelled from Team 2000x which is the faction he is a founding member of.

It all transpired following an eight man tag team match in which Morris teamed with Team 2000x members OZAWA, Daga & Knull as they faced KENOH Naomichi Marufuji, Shuji Kondo & Mohammed Yone.

Towards the end of the match, there was a miscommunication between Morris and Daga. Daga was holding Kondo for Morris to attack. As Morris went to kick Kondo, he moved out of the way and Daga was struck instead. Kondo took full advantage and rolled up Daga to win the match for his team. Daga blamed Morris for the loss and the two began shoving each other. This led OZAWA to attack Morris and the other members of Team 2000x followed suit which indicated that Morris was officially expelled from the faction.

During his post-match backstage interview, OZAWA questioned whether Morris was jealous of him and suggested that he deserved to be kicked out of  Team 2000x.

From OZAWA:

“Waaah, Jack’s gone!  Was he jealous of me? Even though he was the leader. He barely had any presence anyway. Same with Tetsuya Endo and Jack Morris—guys who put all their resources into body-building just aren’t interesting. Maybe getting kicked out was only natural.”

Morris, for his part, posted a graphic on X that indicated that he has broken free from Team 2000x.

There are already rumours that Morris will enlist WWE’s Omos in his expected battle with Team 2000x but this is pure speculation at this point. One thing that is not speculation is Morris will be looking to exact revenge against the faction he helped create.
