Surging Rina Remains Extremely Confident That The STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 Tournament Is Hers To Win

It was one month ago today, that Rina suffered a injury scare against Ema Maishima at STARDOM New Blood 23. Rina was diagnosed with a concussion and was forced to miss three weeks of in-ring action as a result.

Rina made her return to competition on July 27th at the STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 Tournament. Prior to her return from injury, Rina admitted she was a bit nervous stepping foot back in the ring again following her concussion. Any nervousness that she may have had ahead of her in-ring return has been turned into confidence.

The 18 year old star has been surging in the STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 Tournament. She defeated her first four opponents and is currently undefeated in the tournament. Rina holds 5★STAR GP 2025 victories over Rian, Sayaka Kurara, Natsuko Tora & Tomoka Inaba. She currently holds sole possession of first place in the Red Stars B Block with eight points.

With her incredible run so far in the 5★STAR GP 2025, Rina has seen her confidence steadily rise as the tournament progresses. She has kept her composure after returning from her injury and it transpired into her current undefeated tournament run.

After emerging victorious on Aug. 3rd against Tomoka Inaba, Rina took the mic and said she was taking the tournament more seriously than anyone else and expects to win the entire 5★STAR GP 2025.

From Rina:

“I’m putting more on the line and going into this 5★STAR more seriously than anyone else, so you all better look forward to me winning it.”

The next opponent for Rina will be a tough one in the form of current NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion AZM on Aug. 6th. This will be a tremendous test for Rina as she hopes she can continue her phenomenal run. AZM is currently tied for 3rd with Starlight Kid at 5 points in Red Stars B Block.

If Rina can defeat AZM, that could put her in line for a future shot at the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship in addition to increasing her tournament point total to ten. Despite being at a very high level of confidence, Rina should take AZM extremely seriously if she wishes to to extend her remarkable 5★STAR GP 2025 undefeated streak.

All eyes will be on Rina on Aug. 6th and it appears that is exactly what she wants.
