The annual Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling Tokyo Princess Cup is set to begin on July 27th at the Shinjuku FACE venue in Tokyo. The winner of the tournament earns a shot at the TJPW Princess of Princess Championship which is currently held by Mizuki.
We have learned that Moka Miyamoto will not be the one who will earn that Princess of Princess Title opportunity as she was forced to bow out of the competition due to poor health. The unfortunate announcement was made today by TJPW on their X account and website. TJPW did not confirm as to what the illness exactly is that is causing Miyamoto to miss the tournament.
Miyamoto was scheduled to face Miyu Yamashita in a round 1 match up on July 27th. With Miyamoto bowing out, Yamashita advances to the next round of the tournament via forfeit.
Miyamoto has been on a roll lately as she won her first title in TJPW on July 21st when she defeated Suzume for the International Princess Title. She also won the Tokyo Princess Cup 2025 Qualifying Tournament Final Round match against Kaya Toribami on July 8th. Miyamoto had a lot of momentum heading into the Tokyo Princess Cup but unfortunately she will have to watch this years tournament from the sidelines.
