Marigold World Champion Utami Hayashishita Wants To Win DREAM STAR GP 2025 And Pick Her Own Challenger

The Marigold DREAM STAR GP 2025 tournament is set to kickoff on August 2nd in Osaka and will conclude on September 14th in Korakuen Hall.

There will be sixteen participants divided into two blocks. Fifteen of the entrants were revealed yesterday with one slot remaining. The winner will get a Marigold World Title opportunity.

The fifteen competitors confirmed for the Marigold DREAM STAR GP 2025 are as follows:

• Utami Hayashishita
• Mai Sakurai
• MIRAI
• Miku Aono
• Kouki Amarei
• Victoria Yuzuki
• Seri Yamaoka
• Natsumi Showzuki
• Chika Goto
• Kizuna Tanaka
• Nagisa Nozaki
• CHIAKI
• Misa Matsui
• Chanyota

Last years tournament winner and current Marigold World Champion Utami Hayashishita indicated recently that she wants to win the DREAM STAR GP 2025 as the titleholder. Hayashishita stated she wants to nominate her own challenger for the World Title.

From Utami Hayashishita:

“Of course I want to keep defending the belt more and more. First, I’ll defend it against Takumi-san, then win the DREAM STAR GP, and then I’d like to name my next challenger myself. If there are more people who want to challenge me, I want to keep accepting them, and as the ace, I want to keep building up my defense record.”

Hayashishita has title defense upcoming against Takumi Iroha which is expected to occur prior to the DREAM STAR GP 2025.
