Hiromu Takahashi Wins the DDT Ironman Title

The IWGP Junior Champion Hiromu Takahashi has won yet another belt, but this time is the craziest championship in the business, the DDT Ironman Title.

Hiromu Takahashi made a surprise appearance today on DDT Pro Wrestling’s Korakuen show. The IWGP Junior Champion will face Kazuki Hirata on Ultimate Party 2023, and as we wait for that match to come, the ticking timebomb has decided to move a piece in this dramatic chess game. Right after his title match against Takeshi Masada for the DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight Title, Takahashi run to the ring and quickly pinned Hirata for a three-count. Takahashi is the #1578 holder of this championship, and will go to Ryogoku Sumo Hall with that championship around his waist.

The road to Ultimate Party 2023 has been fantastic for DDT, and as they’re looking forward to this interpromotional dream match between Hirata and Takahashi, the IWGP Junior Champion has declared he’s really excited for this opportunity to work in Sanshiro Takagi’s promotion. Takahashi’s crusade around the wrestling world has been truly interesting to see, and we don’t think of a better place to continue said crusade. The land of dramatic dreams will bring yet another to the mix, and Ryogoku will be a timebomb waiting to explode.
