Yuma Aoyagi: “It’s Time for Kento Miyahara to Move On”

Kento Miyahara and Yuma Aoyagi will battle for the Triple Crown Championship on October 21st, and the current champion Aoyagi wants Miyahara to move on.

By: R. Faliani

Ever since defeating Yuji Nagata, the Triple Crown Champion Yuma Aoyagi has been carrying All Japan Pro Wrestling on his back as their young star. Who we once called the future of AJPW has been the present for a long time, and the last big challenge for Aoyagi to surpass is to defeat his partner, and the best Triple Crown champion of the last 15 years, Kento Miyahara. Miyahara has been the undisputed Ace of the promotion, and he’s now in the same position Suwama was when he dethroned him. And just like Miyahara back then, Aoyagi wants his partner to move on from representing All Japan as its biggest star.

Aoyagi has been fantastic as Triple Crown champion, and with the current rise of All Japan we have been seeing these last months he’s more than ready to carry the company into a new horizon, but Miyahara is still against that idea, and wants to win the Triple Crown again. A king shall not leave his throne, but if the king starts becoming an egotistical prick (which Miyahara is and has been with Aoyagi) how long until someone takes his place? Aoyagi wants to be the new king of All Japan, and we think he can do it.
